Dear class,
The March holidays are coming and I trust that all of you will be making use of the time to revise whatever you were taught in Term 1. Term 2 is a very short term, as exams will be coming in slightly more than a month's time. Count the days, and you will realise that it's coming real soon!
Well, be prepared for what lies ahead and put in your best. Remember to persevere in the tasks you are given, and not to give up.
For English homework, you are required to read a story book. After which, write a book review through hitting the 'comments' icon in this blog and type in your thoughts.

This book is about Geronimo, a mouse who runs a newspaper called The Rodent’s Gazette. The story is about him and his wacky grandfather, who sends him to interview the famous archaeologist Professor Spitfur in Egypt. So, he could write the interesting facts in the newspaper. He had a very exciting adventure in the desert and the Cheese Pyramid. When Professor Spitfur brought Geronimo to the Curse, the Professor tripped over a rock smashed his snout. Soon, Geronimo was lost in the Curse. He found his way out. Outside the Curse, he found Professor Spitfur, who could not remember anything for he smashed his snout in the Curse. But when he returned to his office, he soon realized his grandfather had gone off a dead end! But luckily, he managed to stop Grandfather and everything was back to normal. Geronimo’s sales manager, Shif T. Paws asked him to write a book about the trip. So he wrote the book just for fun. Soon, it became a bestseller!

4)Detective Burton,Detective Radley,Detective Gibson and Detective Trellis go and find mysteries to solve.The Crime scene was at the construction site where the master eletrician jumped off the buliding. The detectives want to know who made him jump off. the went to where the master eletrician jumped off.His Death was at 8.45. His tools where flew as far as 20 feet. So Detective Burton picked up the master eletrician's handphone. called back the call at 8.45.one of the men picked his phone. Detective Burton said over the phone to the man that called at 8.45. Burton said''you are under arrest for murder.''So Burton and the other detectives jailed the person who called at 8.45 for 10 years.

4) What this book is all about : It is about Stilton Cheese began disappearing during the author's trip to England. Because the name of the cheese and the name of the author were the same, so the author had to solve the mystery. Finally, he found out 'Shadow' was the one who stole all the cheese so that she could build a house of cheese - everything in there was made of cheese, eg. fire place made of cheese, clothing made of cheese, furniture made of cheese, and she bathed in melted cheese!
5) Why you like the book : It is easy to read, the story is funny and the pages are colourful.

with you all.The story name is:The Dog and the Wolf.One night,a wolf was out hunting.He was very hungry as he had not eaten for two days,After a while,the wolf saw dog resting."What are you doing here?" asked the wolf."I am actually doing my work," answered the dog."What is your work? I only see you doing nothing since just now," said the wolf.
"Every night, I look after my master's house. I have to make sure that no thieves break into the house," answered the dog.
"I think your master takes good care of you. You also don't have to find food like me," said the wolf.
"Yes my master really looks after me and gives me enought food. I dont' have to find food like you," said the do.
"Can I be like you? I don't want to be hungry if I can't find food," said the wolf.
"Alright, I will bring you to my master," said the dog.
The wolf was very happy. He thought that he need not have to find food anymore. He folloowed behind the dog. Then he saw a scar on the dog's neck.
"Why is there a scar on your neck?" asked the wolf.
"Oh, this is because of the chain around my neck. In the day time, my master will put a chain around my neck. I will be placed in the kennel too. I am only allowed to go out in the night," said the dog.
"If it is like that, then I do not want to work like you. I don't want to chained up all the time. I will rather be free even though I have to find food myself," said the wolf.

4) I have a book about space. I bought it at a small book shop in United Square. It has ten chapters of fun about astronomy, our solar system and space travel. Especially, the part talking about aliens is extra fun. It talks about UFOs, too. This book says that there might be aliens. But I think there are no aliens because nobody ever saw them. Anyway, that is just a guess. Who knows...there might really be aliens. Well, this book is something that I will never, ever give away because it is special, cool, interesting and very fun !

They were find mysteries to solve each crime scenes. They will always find forensic evidence by doing DNA Test and UV light to identify many trace evidence items such as body, fluids, drugs and ink.
5. I like this book because I love solving mysteries.

4) This book is about Chinese Myths/stories and others. It wrote about China and China's religions. It mentioned about Gods and Deities in the Chinese's beliefs.They were the Eight Immortals - Li Tieguai of the Iron Crutch, Lan Caihe, Lu Dongbin, etc...The Eight Immortals were close friends who traveled and had many adventures together. Other stories in this book are: The Foolish Old Man Removes the Mountains. The First Silkworm.The Dragon and the Phoenix.
5)I like this book because there are many interesting Myths that teaches me about morals. Also it let me understand more about Chinese cultures and customs.

This book is about Rewarding the honest.There are many short stories about it.Examples are:One Hundred Mothers,The Magic Scissors,The Magical Strand of Beard and so on The Eight Immortals go around rewarding the honest.Stories about the Eight Immortals helped the Chinese to easily learn and understand Taoist teachings and traditions.It also tells us that the honest/good will be rewarded.Let me tel u 1 story The hundred mother. One afternoon,there are eight poor and injured people going a round asking for food and he meet some one who give them left over food but the poor was so happy,but master Tong came and saw them eating his left over food .He was so angry and take back his food .And throw them out of the house .Actually the poor are the eight immortals in disguise.Then they went back to his house.Lu Dongbin pretend to know that his house has a treasure and master Tong was shock.He quickly call his sevants to dig the spot that Lu Dongbin pointed.His sevants finally saw a copper coin,master Tong said to Lu Dongbin :"u call this a rare treasure?".

The immortal said u have to do 100 deeds to solved the problem.And master Tong realise that he has done wrong, he set a stall and gave the poor free food.Finally he has done 100 good deeds.He promise that not to be selfish.THE END =)=)

When he saw the tour guide, he was so surprise, because he had never saw such a beautiful woman in his eyes. The name of the tour guide was Marisa. The first time, Marisa brought Edward to a popular churrascaria restaurant, they enjoyed a sumptuous feast of grilled meat of all varieties, served on skewers and sliced by the waiters. Edward had never ate so delicious food. They chatted for many hours. Edward told her how girls left him, because of his football.

sometimes the father call her names like cheat,stupid,ignorant,liar.The truth is,shes a genius and parents are the stupid ones.MATILDA parents mr and mrs wormwood are two such parents.She also have a brother,MICHEAL.MICHEAL is a maxilian.62.MATILDA parents work till eveninig. So,every afternoon after school she secretly go to the library to read books.She went to day by day till one day,the librarian,mrs phelps,said that she can actually borrow a few books for two weeks.
she asked"can I really do that?"
mrs said that she can.So,from that day on words she only go to the library once a week so that she can return old books and borrow new books.
Oh,by the way thank you ms seow for lending me this book for more than two weeks.
